Discover the past through evidence from an archaeological site in Arizona and bring the science of archaeology into your homeschool and aŌerschool programs! This four-hour workshop will demonstrate how to use scientific inquiry tools to investigate an ‘olas kii (a Native American pithouse). Help students understand past people and cultures, analyze contemporary problems in preservation, and consider the interrelatedness of archaeological tools and processes and bigger systems.
