2009 Horner Fellow Announced
The Horner Fellowship Committee is pleased to announce that Nancy Deegan, librarian at Central Arizona College, has been awarded the 2009 AzLA Horner Fellowship. Nancy's exchange to Japan will take place in November 2009.
Call for Nominations for AzLA Service Awards
The 2009 AzLA Conference is fast approaching and so is the deadline for the 2009 AzLA Service Awards. Make sure to give that special person or group the recognition they deserve. Hurry and get your nominations in before it’s too late! The deadline for nominations is August 28, 2009.

The Horner Fellowship was endowed in 1989, by Dr. Layton Horner and his wife Marian to foster cultural understanding & informational exchanges between Arizona and Japanese librarians.
Louise A. Stephens Memorial Scholarship Fund will assist those pursuing any aspect of librarianship in Arizona.
